National Dual Team Registration

We are excited to announce that the Board of Directors has approved the 2025 National Teams budget of $67,000, the largest contribution FAWA has ever approved. This donation will fund our National Teams stipend programs, which are set up to reduce the fees to nationals for Team Florida wrestlers. Thank you to the BOD for your continued support and financial commitment to Florida wrestling. The National Teams Committee works tirelessly to make Team Florida a national powerhouse and to provide opportunities and trips that your wrestler will never forget!

Qualification for Team Florida to National Championships:

14U, 16U and Junior National Duals (Men & Women)

The “Father Devine Tournament'' serves as the direct qualifier for all Team Florida National Dual teams.

How to qualify for one of Team Florida’s National Dual Teams

Win both Freestyle and Greco Roman at the Father Devine Championships
Meet all deadlines for deposits and any other Team requirements as outlined by the Team Leader and National Teams Director.

Spots not filled by a winner of BOTH styles will be filled as follows:

If both winners of each style wish to go, they will both be given the opportunity to go to the duals as the starter in the style they won only.
If only one of the winners chooses to go, then the Team Leader and State Teams Director select a team member from one of the following. These are not in priority order
winner of the one style
A lower place winner in the style
A petitioner who was unable for good reason (as determined by the Team Leader and State Teams Director) to compete in the Father Devine Tournament.

Congratulations on earning your spot on the Florida National Dual Teams! Please be sure to register athletes for the correct age group division before finalizing your payment.

**This is not an open registration . Wrestlers will be invited to represent Team Florida at the conclusion of the father divine tournament.**

The National Dual trips are valued at $1,400 for the boys while our girls trips are valued at $1,350. Due to the generous contributions from FAWA each athlete will receive a $200 stipend toward their trip from our state association.

To Claim Stipend : Must have 4 ToF points of any kind by May 31 (Includes pre-registering forFAWA Freestyle and Greco State Championships.)

Adherence of National Team Policies and Expectations:

As a representative of Team Florida Wrestling, I agree to:

Represent Team Florida with pride, respect, and professionalism at all times.
Follow all schedules, attend all team meetings, and obey curfew.
Stay with the team at the hotel unless given direct permission by a coach.
Treat teammates, coaches, opponents, officials, and staff with respect.
Take care of all facilities and hotel property — no damage, no disrespect.
Follow the Zero Tolerance Policy:
No drugs
No alcohol
No tobacco/vaping
No dangerous or harmful behavior

Violations could subject athlete to Immediate Removal:

If I break these rules, my parent/guardian will be responsible for arranging and paying for my transportation home.

Further violations may affect my eligibility for future Team Florida events.
